Odyssey Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician. An Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Military Equivalent with 0-5 years’ experience in this or a related position is required. The candidate will be working in the Quality Assurance department and the work includes the final Quality Assurance checks. This position requires a computer literate candidate with a strong aptitude using Microsoft Excel and Word. The candidate should:
• Possess a great attitude and work ethic
• Type well and possess strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
• Be detail oriented, well organized, understand core quality concepts; possessing ISO9000 or similar experience is a plus.

Odyssey Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced RF Engineer in Round Rock, TX. Desirable candidate should have a BSEE or MSEE degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in all aspects of Design, Reverse Engineering, and Analysis of RF Generators, Tuning Networks, and Microwave generators is preferred. Skills necessary are Circuit Design, Circuit Analysis, PCB Prototyping, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, Thermal Analysis, Impedance Matching, Mechanical prototyping, and Component evaluation. RF power levels typically to 10kW with frequency ranges to 100MHz. Equipment applications vary widely but are generally used to generate and sustain Plasma loads for Films Deposition, Etching, and Coatings in a variety of industries including Semiconductor Processing, Medical Imaging, Industrial Coatings, and Photovoltaic panels. Engineer will be part of an Engineering Team. Experience with Impedance Matching, various Amplifier Classes, and Filter designed for 1kW and greater is a plus. Candidate should also have experience utilizing test equipment such as Network and Spectrum analyzers and be able to build test fixtures as necessary. Candidate should also possess a strong work ethic and maintain a positive attitude.

The winning candidate will help motivate and supervise electronic technicians in order to meet specific goals on a high volume repair floor. Supervisory duties include: Overseeing daily repair operations including prioritizing and scheduling repair activities to meet or exceed repair and quality objectives; monitoring and distributing inventory to support repair operations; maintaining and improving repair processes as necessary; coordinate communications with other groups; monitor morale and energize personnel to achieve repair tasks; monitor and adjust employee time; review training; other tasks as required. Candidate should have 3+ years of supervisory experience. Experience supervising within the semiconductor fabrication or electronics rework industry is desirable. Candidate should possess and excellent work ethic and be able to lead by example. Proficiency using Microsoft Office products and general computer skills are essential.
