Jim Plourde is President and Co- Founder of Odyssey. Prior to Odyssey Jim served as an electronic warfare technician in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Austin. After his military service Jim held technical engineering and equipment engineering positions at both Motorola and National Semiconductor. Jim has over 35 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment service and repair. He also serves as Vice President of Odyssey Singapore.

Eric Nail is Vice President and Co-Founder of Odyssey. Prior to Odyssey Eric’s extensive career spanned application, equipment maintenance and process engineering at Intelogic Trace, Maxtor and Freescale Semiconductor, combining for over 30 years’ experience in third party repair. Eric also serves on the advisory board Texas State Technical College. He is the President of Odyssey Singapore.

Odyssey Europe Leadership

They are supported by local partners; who will provide the "on the ground" executive management of Odyssey Europe BV. One of those partners is Dr. Klaus Werner who has many years of RF and microwave experience, filling many roles within Philips and NXP in the Netherlands. He is currently the chairman of the RF Energy Section of IMPI, as well as one of the founders of Pink RF. Klaus is very well known in the Nijmegen scientific community as an innovative and creative force in the areas of RF and microwave.  

Our European Operations Manager, Angelo Andres, is a seasoned semiconductor professional with 20 years experience. He has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a MBA. Angelo has worked for a number of multi-national companies including REMEC, Intel, NXP, Ampleon, MACOM and ams AG in roles which include research, product development, applications, product marketing and product management. He has broad knowledge of semiconductor technologies (LDMOS, GaN on SiC, GaN on Si and CMOS) used in Industrial, Scientific, Medical, Automotive and Consumer markets. He has excellent technical and commercial skills to see the big picture vision and has the personal drive to bring the vision to reality. He is a strategic thinker, social broker and effective communicator and has demonstrated leadership in a cross functional matrix organization with teams located in US, Europe and Asia.

Odyssey Singapore Leadership

Adrian Lee is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Odyssey Singapore. Prior to establishing Odyssey, Adrian has diverse experiences in industrial sales, logistic management and market development of consumer products for SE Asia countries. He held the rank of Captain in Army during his National Service. Adrian graduated from University of South Australia with an Honours Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He also holds Advanced Diploma in Sales & Marketing from PSB Academy. Through his leadership and management skills, Adrian has grown Odyssey Singapore to a world class RF/DC/MW repair company in Asia.

Chong Yew is the Engineering Manager of Odyssey Singapore. Since 1997, he has worked in Hard Disk, Silicon and Compound semiconductor fabs in Singapore and Malaysia. He has assumed various roles in Operations, Engineering and Quality functions, primarily in plasma and vacuum related modules. Besides module engineering, Chong Yew has also worked in Supplier Quality to put his experiences to good use in tackling supplier related issues, and partnering suppliers in providing solutions. 

Jason Cheong is the Sales Manager of Odyssey Singapore. Started his career in sales for the SEMI/Hard Disk industry in 2004. With 15 years of sales experiences in the industries of SEMI, Hard Disk, FPD, Solar and others which uses vacuum in their processes for manufacturing and research purposes. Prior to Odyssey, he was working as a Sales Manager in a leading Swiss company that manufactures vacuum valves, and he was responsible for sales and service activities with end user business and managing channel distribution within SE Asia. 

Kassandra Tan assumes the key roles in Finance and Accounting, as well as Human Resources functions of Odyssey Singapore. Prior to joining Odyssey, Kassandra served organisations from diverse industries including a public-listed Switzerland-based valves manufacturer, a US largest sewing machine company and a French luxury goods conglomerate. Kassandra possesses professional qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) since 2002. She is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore and member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
